This is to introduce the 211 Networker/Listserv -- it's a great way of staying in touch with what other 211 services are doing, to help others with ideas and knowledge based on your past experiences and also to receive occasional help from your peers across the continent.
Here's how to join:
- Address an email to listserv@listserv.unitedway.org
- In the body of the email type " Subscribe 2-1-1Discussion-L" followed by your "FirstName LastName" (do not include quotes and take out auto signature).
- Example: Subscribe 2-1-1Discussion-L John Doe * Listserv will send you a subscription confirmation.
Once subscribed, you can post messages to the list by sending email to:
- 211Discussion-L@listserv.unitedway.org
There is no downside to subscribing to the 211 Listserv ... and just in case, www.airs.org is also worth checking into if your organization is not already a member!
