InformOntario symposium. The training forum was held at Durham College in Oshawa, on May 12-13, 2008, more information is posted on InformOntario website.
AIRS annual conference was held in Houston,TX from May 18 to 21, 2008. This year’s theme was Exploring New Frontiers of I&R.
The national CCIRC conference will be in historic Kingston, ON on Sept 29 to Oct 1, 2008. More information is posted in the conference website.
This 5th edition of the Standards for Professional Information and Referral represents the most important version published to date. It includes a significant expansion of content, adding sections for Crisis Intervention and Disaster Preparedness, and it is the first version issued by the AIRS Standards Committee while operating under a new structure and a new set of policies and procedures.
