Canadian Community I&R Conference 2007

Flower_manitobaOCTOBER 1 & 2, 2007 WINNIPEG -- The annual Canadian Community Information and Referral Conference will be held in Winnipeg this year, and hosted by CONTACT Community Information. Full details are posted on the conference website.

In 2006, the Canadian Community Information and Referral Conference (CCIRC) was held in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and hosted by Information Niagara. The conference featured best practices in I&R, including new information resources and information technology tools developed through the 211 Ontario Project, and current news on the 211 initiative across Canada. The conference theme "Helping in Times of Crisis", encouraged participants to consider past and emerging roles for I&R in times of crisis.
